Services
Everything to do with removable dentures
Denturists assess, design, make, fit and repair removable dentures. That is all we do, from the first impression to the yearly check-up.
Complete dentures
Complete dentures replace all the teeth in the upper jaw, the lower jaw or both. They rest on the gums and the bone underneath.
Partial dentures
A removable partial denture replaces one or more missing teeth and fills the gaps between your own.
Implant-retained dentures
An implant-retained denture clips onto dental implants, so it moves less than a conventional denture. It is often recommended for the lower jaw, where dentures are harder to keep in place.
Immediate dentures
An immediate denture is made before your remaining teeth are removed, so you are not without teeth while you heal.
Relines
A loose denture does not always need replacing. A reline reshapes the fitting surface to match how your gums have changed. Hard and soft liners are available.
Repairs
Cracks, chips and broken teeth happen. Most repairs are done in our lab the same day, so you are not without your denture for long.

S. Yanchynska Denture Clinic is a denture practice in central Mississauga, with two Registered Denturists: Svitlana Yanchynska and Natalia Trofimova.
Your denturist both treats you and makes your dentures. Because the lab is on the premises, the person who takes your impressions is the person who sets your teeth, and small changes can often be made while you are still here.

How it works
Your path to new dentures
A complete denture usually takes about five visits. Partial, immediate and implant cases differ, and we explain your plan at the consultation.

Consultation and impressions
We look at your mouth and any dentures you have now, talk through the options and take first impressions.

Final impressions
Custom trays from the lab give precise impressions and measurements.

Bite and tooth selection
We record how your jaws meet and choose the size, shape and shade of the teeth with you.

Try-in
You try the teeth set in wax, so we can check the look, the bite and your speech before the denture is finished.

Delivery
You receive your dentures with care instructions. Follow-up adjustments are part of the process.
Paying for dentures
Insurance and government programs
We accept dental insurance plans and the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). The CDCP is open to Canadian residents of any age without dental insurance and a family income under $90,000, and it covers complete and partial dentures, relines and repairs. Ask us about your coverage when you call.
